Hello, and thank you. Whether you realize it our not you’ve all have been keeping me accountable when it comes to my SMART goal of doing 15 minutes of exercise before I go to work. Every morning I wake up ready to ditch my fledging exercise routine only to realize that I just published my SMART goal less than a week ago. Now that it’s been a week since I posted this reasonable exercise routine, I want to give you, an update on my progress. After all, this will be one of the very techniques I will be using on my future health coaching clients.
The good news is that I did do some exercise every morning. Some days it was an arm workout. Other days it was walking or a full body cardio workout. I’ve had a couple leg days doing squats. But I have to admit, I didn’t always do the full 15 minutes. So I do need to work on increasing my time everyday. Not that 15 minutes is the ideal time, it’s just a matter of doing what I say, and staying committed to that goal. That’s how results happen. And the result I’m looking for is to keep my weight down, maybe even lose a few pounds, and also build more muscle. We lose muscle as we age, so it’s very important to be mindful of doing exercises that will increase muscle mass, which in turn also increases metabolism!
Now we’re at the beginning of a new week, which means a new opportunity to succeed. And that’s what I’m going to commit to doing.

Take care everyone!
